Everyone recognizes guide dogs with blind people, but I have an invisible disability, which means I may get an argument when I try to take Dakota into a restaurant, a library, a school, or even on public transportation. Dakota and I have been on TV many times, including on the Discovery Channel and Odyssey. We work hard to teach people about service dogs. Dakota’s life has changed a lot since that day when he was abandoned, and mine certainly has changed, too.
